How to Style a Bomber Jacket

November 23, 2016

When it comes to the it trends of the season, the bomber jacket is definitely right up there with runners, pastel hair and (very) dark pouts. Basically, no bomber jacket, no instagram cred (I joke, but seriously though).

So just as I was obsessively searching stores for "the one" jacket that's going to help me hang out with the cool kids, the amazing people at IRISIE asked me if I fancy anything from their store. Somehow my unicorn vibes met their unicorn vibes somewhere in the universe and we magically came together to create something awesome.

I chose this magnificent koi fish beauty in pink and white because I could instantly imagine it paired with an all black layer underneath and burgundy lips. Emotions ran high, because of former (not so good) experiences with asian online stores, so I didn't really know what to expect. But I had hopes because measurements were asked for in order to deliver the best fitting.

And fit like a glove it did! I am happy to report that the quality of the jacket is really lovely.  Basically, what you see in the picture is what you get. I was sent an M size, which is what I usually wear at H&M, Zara and many other stores.

The shipping took almost a month, but that's because the parcel was held (as it always happens) in Canadian customs limbo for almost two weeks. I imagine it like a whole in time-space continuum filled with clothes from Asia and cheese.

But uhm, where were we... IRISIE! Give their store a looksy, yeah? There are some gorgeous things there that are looking for a home, not to mention some very very cool bomber jackets aching to be styled with an all black layer underneath and burgundy lips.

Have a lovely day!

P.S. I received a free IRISIE sample in exchange for a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
