Before Yesstyle, my interaction with Korean beauty consisted of mainly nicely packaged sheet masks, which are pretty awesome, but only the peak of the iceberg as I later came to realize. Just in case you didn't know, when it comes to whole other level skincare and beauty products, Korea is where it's at! I've heard all the buzz, but only really got to experience it for myself now and I am hooked! Here's a little bit about the goodies in the box.
RiRe - Luxe Dual Stick #2 Shadow + Blusher. I can't say I'm a big blush user, but this product made me into a believer. It looks so pretty on the skin and the shades are perfect for spring. I am in love!
RiRe - Lip Manicure Rouge Highfix. The RiRe lipstick was such a discovery! After it dries it literally feels like you are wearing nothing and on top of that, it packs in great coverage and staying power. Such a winner in my book.
Heimish - All Clean Balm. Perfect product for taking off your makeup in the evening and cleansing your skin. Those of you who have sensitive skin will appreciate how gentle this is on the complexion.
Thank you Farmer - Sun Project Sun Essence + Be Beautiful BB Cream & CC Cream. I haven't used this yet, but I plan on giving it a try soon and reporting back.
Etude House - Pink Vital Water Trial Kit. Oh how I wish these were larger sized samples because they were so nice to use. I gave them a try before bed and my skin felt so happy and moisturized. I was even happier when I woke up and I saw that there were no overnight breakouts. I need these products in my life bad!
A'PIEU - My Little Mascara (High Curling). I love the small, travel friendly size of this mascara. I never use up my mascara before it expires and I end up throwing away half of the tube. I also appreciate that it only deposits just the right amount of product on my lashes. Pure perfection!
Berrisom - Oops Dual Contouring (No.01 Highlighter & Shading). This is one of the products that I haven't found much use for, mostly because I'm not that big on contouring. I would have traded this for a nice brow product, which is something I use every day.
MCC - Accent Waterproof Eyeliner (#1 Accent Black). I wasn't a big fan of this product either. It didn't seem to glide on as smoothly as I imagined it would. On the upside, it did have amazing staying power.
COSRX - Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser. I would not mind a full bottle of this in my life. It was super gentle on the skin and the scent was so nice and fresh, while not being overpowering.
All in all I was very impressed with the quality of the the box and I was also very excited about being able to discover so many products that I wouldn't otherwise be able to buy in Canada. If you're curious Korean beauty, I would definitely recommend one of these boxes as an affordable introduction. You can pick one up here for just under $35.
Do you guys have any favourite Korean beauty products you can't live without? I want to hear all about them!
Have a brilliant day!
